Top 5 articles

The number of earth science articles published weekly is enormous. Even within one discipline it is sometimes difficult to stay completely up-to-date on the latest developments. This is true for researchers at the university, but even more so for earth scientists working outside the university. This is why the KNGMG started a service in 2020, in which we ask top scientists to provide the Top 5 articles of recent years on a particular topic. The emphasis should be on open access articles. The articles are selected in such a way that they give a good overview of recent developments, yet are understandable even to the not very initiated reader.
