Geo.brief
The Geo.brief is a joint publication of the KNGMG and the NWO domain of Exact and Natural Sciences (ENW) and is published 8 times per calendar year (ISSN 1876-231X).
The Geo.brief always includes a number of articles on geological topics as well as KNGMG announcements, book reviews, a calendar of interesting lectures, conferences, announcements, field trips and other geologically oriented activities, and advertisements. Messages from members, circles and articles are most welcome.
Archive
The Geo.brief/newsletter of the KNGMG first appeared in February 1975. From then on, the newsletter replaced the News and Personalia sections that had been included in the KNGMG journal ‘Geology and Mining’ until 1974. Geology and Mining thus became a scientific and technical-mining journal, which has since evolved into the NJG (Netherlands Journal of Geosciences).
