KNGMG General meeting of members and symposium: Seismicity in the energy transitions

At Thursday 30 May the KNGMG’s General Meeting of Members will take place, followed by a symposium on seismicity in the energy transition. Speakers from EBN (Adriaan Janszen), TNO (Stefan Carpentier), TU Delft (Deyan Draganov) and Afry (Barbara Cox) will discuss several applications of seismicity and other types of data acquisition for the benefit of the energy transition. Think of geothermal energy, high-temperature storage, but also offshore wind farms.

Location:

EnergyCave Rijswijk (Kesslerpark 1, Rijswijk)

Programme:

11:00 – 11:00Ā  General meeting of members

12:30 – 13:00 Start (walk-in) symposium with coffee and tea

13:00 – 13:10 Introduction and welcome

13:10 – 13:50 SCAN: data acquisition for geothermal energy – seismicity and corings (Adriaan Janszen / EBN)

13:50 – 14:30 Shallow seismicity for amongs others high-temperature storage and electromagnetic methods (Stefan Carpentier / TNO)

You can register for one or both events using the forms below. It is also possible to attend the Genernal meeting of members online. If you want this, please send an email to kngmg@kngmg.nl and you will recieve a link to the meeting.Ā

Please note that the submit button is below both forms, but is in very light grey. It appears more clear if you go over it with the cursor. We are working on making it more visibible!Ā
